How to build it

Single-page web UI: form fields for event text + upload logo, brand colors; choose template grid; preview; one-click export bundle: PDF/X‑3 (CMYK), 300dpi PNG/JPEG variants, 1-page printer checklist (embedded fonts list, bleed guide), and a printer-compatibility report (which printers/settings might reject). Optional Figma/Canva import via their export APIs for quick migration.

How it makes money

Who pays: event organizers / small venues pay per-export ($3–$12 per PDF bundle) or $10/mo unlimited for active organizers; why they pay: avoids $50–$400 reprint costs and fast acceptance by printers; why they won't use free options: free Canva/Slides exports regularly fail printers and fixing requires paid designer time or multiple trial prints, so per-export fee is cheaper and saves time.

Why it doesn't exist yet

Incumbents (Canva/Figma) prioritize infinite template variety and social-image exports; their 'print' features are generic and often produce RGB or web-optimized files; professional prepress tools (InDesign) are complex and require designers. An indie can ship a focused, opinionated preflight+export pipeline quickly and cheaply that addresses the exact failure modes printers refuse to accept.

First users

The first 10 users are local meetup organizers and campus clubs found via niche Slack/Discord groups and Reddit: they pay immediately when shown a before/after case (their current Canva export that printers rejected vs. a PrintProof PDF accepted first time); posters are high-frequency, low-technical, and word-of-mouth spreads in event-organizer communities.
